He has averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 44 games this season.

The injury to Langford is a blow to the Spurs, who were already without starting guard DeMar DeRozan due to a sore left knee.

The Spurs are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference and are fighting for a playoff spot.

Langford’s absence will likely mean more minutes for veteran guard Patty Mills and rookie guard Keldon Johnson.

Mills has been a key contributor for the Spurs this season, averaging 11.2 points, 3.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game.

Johnson has also been a bright spot, averaging 8.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
